Thanks to the lovelies at Penguin and Premier I was given the opportunity to enjoy a night of luxury and pure indulgence at The Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington. From Champagne and Strawberries to a bath filled with sensually fragrant bath salts the mood was set and the time was definitely right to delve into the deep dark lives of Eva & Gideon Cross once again. This event if you have not already figured out was for the launch of Sylvia Day’s next chapter of the Gideon & Eva whirlwind. The hashtag for the night was #CaptivatedByYouSleepover.
Myself and Catherine had a great girly night in whilst reading the awesome book.
Here are a few pictures to show you how the night went!
FYI: I did not take my big camera with me and there are couple of blurry shots as I had my little camera with no flash – whoops!
Handy blogger tip: TAKE YOUR CAMERA WITH YOU EVERYWHERE AND IF YOU HAVE A COMPACT GET A FLASH!
My review of the book is up now – CHECK IT OUT.
Beautiful bulbs on show for all to see.
Check out the awesome room and the bed was oh so comfortable.
What a lovely bunch of goodies to walk into after a long day at work!
Reading for a bath with a glass of bubbly and the book.
Not before a cheesy pic with my bestie (Catherine)
Despite the blurriness you can still see the crisp, modern bathroom that we had the pleasure of using.
Between the two of us we managed to work the bath taps and run a nice ‘warm’ bath!
These delightful smelling bath salts were part of the goody bag we had waiting for us on the bed on arrival.
Unfortunately neither of us managed to open them until the next morning when it was too late.
However on arriving home after work the next day they provided me with paramount relaxation.
All ready to snuggle up and read for the rest of the evening.
What girls night in at a luxurious hotel would be complete without Room Service and another bottle of bubbly.
Catherine got an awesome picture that really captured the fun we had that night – check it out.
So as you can see we had an amazing night in thanks to the lovelies at Penguin and Premier. Also great thanks to the staff at The Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington.
Check out my review HERE and you will be able to grab a copy of the book from one of the links.
