How Did I Get On?
Still working on the Christmas gift baskets for our mothers however it is taking longer than I anticipated due to lack of time to go out and shop for the contents. Bit by bit I am getting there – it will happen. On the wrapping side of things the other day I got into a bit of a wrapping frenzy put my audio book on and got cracking. With only 3 more presents to wrap and a couple more to buy I am pretty much all sorted.
One thing I do regret this year is not planning ahead enough to participate in The Broke & The Bookish Secret Santa – such a shame but next year will be a good one! (Not wishing the time away of course!).
Commenting has not been my strong point this week but I have visited almost 10 new blogs and let me tell you there are some awesome bloggers out there – as if you didn’t already know.

See You There 😀
12 days in and we are half way through the month and so close to christmas with less than 2 weeks to go things have been kicked up a notch at camp Blog A Book (Work, Home etc!). Today is Christmas Jumper Day – if you have more luck than I did with the Save the Children web page you can find out how to get involved (even this late in the day!). All money raised today with Save the Children goes towards vulnerable children in the UK and Abroad. Many people believe that charity starts at home and that really is a scrooged way to think about it, however if you have it to give then do – well that is my take on it anyway. In aid of this giving day I have put together a collection of Ladies, Mens and Children’s jumpers that you can wear for the rest of the festive season.
For the Man in your Life
For the Kiddiwinkles!
I am yet to buy my Christmas jumper – which one should I go for?
It’s Blogmas Day 8 people and I am on the slow road to Christmas celebrations. This is my favourite time of year and I fully intend to enjoy it to the max. The decorations are going up and treats are almost ready for the oven (well kind of!). How are you preparing for the festive season and what are you reading?
Thanks to Audible this is what I am currently listening to.
Sophie Kinsella has been a favourite of mine for many years and if I am honest got me into reading a lot more with her fabulous shopaholic series. This one however so far has not impressed me – I’m unsure whether it is because I am listening to it and don’t really like the narrators whiny voice.
We shall see!
After checking out the new collection for Coast this is one of my favourite pieces of the collection. You may have guessed as this has not only been on my Instagram but also on my Facebook and made it to the press day post.
This has been my skin saviour this week, with all the cold weather I have been taking my daily cleansing routine a lot more seriously. After the first use my face felt fresh and dewy. Have you used this?
Our picture from date night at Winter Wonderland – it was such an awesome night and so romantic and snuggly.
Cute right?! I just love this bed-spread and of course I am on the nice side!
